GlycoMimetics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology firm located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is engaged in using novel and proprietary glycobiology technology to develop treatments for unmet medical needs. They hired BioPharmAdvisors to leverage Dr. Riddle’s understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and her clinical background in tackling a strategic project. Medical consulting for an advertising campaign.

A leading medical organization needed to recruit real people with real complications from exposure to tobacco smoke for a “stop smoking” advertising campaign. Dr. Valerie Riddle of BioPharmAdvisors was consulted to serve as a medical resource for the advertising agency’s recruiting and creative teams.  Through direct contact with candidates and their physicians, review of candidate medical records and interaction with the client’s teams, Dr. Riddle was able to help ensure the candidates recommended for consideration met the client’s specifications for smoking-related illness.
